Day 2 - Dun Laoghaire...

On our way to Dun Laoghaire (DLR) for some yummy grub and walk along the sea front!
What'chu lookin at?
At the DLR Farmer's Market I enjoyed some Lebanese food chalked full of Falafel, hummus, pita bread, dolmas and all their tasty salads! Pawl went for Indian Tikka Masala. Chris, well, Chris had a combo of Pig cooked on a spit followed by banana/nutella crepes!
After feeding on our chosen cuisines we headed down to the Sandycove walk. It was low tide and we had a great time walking on the rocks and exploring.
Pawl playing on the rocks!
Both sides of the looking glass...

When Chris was younger, he used to love sitting and watching tide pools for all the tiny sea creatures that live in them. He found this amazing one and we sat and watched the dogfish, several crabs, minnows...all sorts of creatures!

We were all walking on the rocks and all of a sudden Pawl and I heard this splash. We turned around and saw Chris had slipped and fallen into a small tide pool. Luckily, due to his gracefulness and agility this was the only damage!
All of Pawl's exploring on the rocks paid off. He came upon a lone jellyfish. It was just hanging out, in no hurry to get anywhere. We stood and watched it for like 10 minutes. It was really cool!
At the end of the walk was the famous Forty Foot Beach. This beach used to be a gentlemen's only beach...clothing optional and usually not worn...way back in the day. Now it's still a gentlemen's only beach until 9:30am each morning. After that, it's open to the public!

On the way home we spied this "musician" on the DART...fast asleep!
Chris took advantage of the light and took some portraits of Pawl.

Awwwwwwww! Finally home after a long day out!
