As most of you know, Chris and I are kids at heart! This continued during our pumpkin carving evening! We were giddy as children on Christmas morning with the anticipation of finally carving our masterpieces! I even found a pumpkin carving kit at the 2 euro store...
Things got a little crazy...
but in the end, everything came out wonderfully. I even made up a little story. Chris' "geek" pumpkin with the awkward smile, was ecstatic about being on a date with Lady Divine. He really wanted to impress her and stand out from the rest of the guys she's dated so instead of buying her flowers, he bought her a Shamrock! She was happy as a clam and they lived happily ever after! The End!
As everyone knows, the best part of carving pumpkins is roasting pumpkin seeds and three pumpkins makes a lot of deliciousness!
While I was making pumpkin seeds, Chris was impressing me yet again with his mad cooking skills! Though we didn't have JIF Peanut Butter, we did have Ireland's version of peanut butter. So, Viola! Peanut Butter cookies!
Back off ladies...he's mine!
